Capacity is greatly depends on each battery rating. Using higher rating with similar configuration will result in higher overall capacity and vice versa.

BMS (Battery Monitoring System) is a critical part of this system. It monitors and control the balancing of voltages across all the packs in the system. Balancing is needed for Lithium batteries to protect from operating outside its safe operating range. Selecting a good BMS with rated capacity is a MUST on a big system like Powerwall.
